The Workshops

Fall 1998

Identity

In this session, we explore issues related to identity and community and used Adobe Photoshop to generate and manipulate images. We also created webpages to exhibit our work.

Exploring Themes

After reading, Computers, Thinking, and Schools
in "the New World Economic Order"
by Monty Neill
in the collection Resisting the Virtual Life,
edited by James Brook and Iaian A. Boal (1995, City Lights), we created hyperstacks with Hyperstudio, a popular multi-media presentation software package. With Hyperstudio, one can easily generate linkable pages that include images, sounds and movie clips to present theme-based research projects.
